My name is Asha and I've been exactly where you are:

1. There was very little encouragement for activities outside of academia.
Growing up, I was told to study hard and get a "safe" job. Sound familiar? Parents, teachers, even my careers advisor was less than enthusiastic about unconventional ambitions. Uninspired, I scraped by in school, and again at university, where I quickly dropped out to try my luck in the working world.
2. I worked to earn a living, but my jobs weren't "giving me life".
I worked at 12 different places in 3 years before noticing this new, unsustainable pattern. None of these jobs fit me well and I quickly lost interest. I had to think seriously about what gave me job satisfaction and what I was naturally inclined to do in order to stick to something.
3. The superficial benefits were just short term distractions.

I finally found a stable job that I loved and learnt a lot from. Sadly, the excitement wore off after I questioned what the work meant to me and why it wasn't reason enough to stay. I was seduced by the image of success, and stagnating at the same time.

During the pandemic, we realised that there's more to life than the current way of doing things. Personally, I was dissatisfied with work, and unsure what the next step was. At the same time, I started really diving into palmistry and felt it confirmed things about myself that I was ignoring or hadn't acknowledged, for example:

-
I like to take the lead and recognition is important to me.
-
I enjoy coming up with new ideas and am business minded.
-
I'm driven by my feelings, and am more likely to pursue
something if it has emotional rewards or feels meaningful. -
I naturally want to care for and heal others.
-
And this was the biggest eye opener: structure doesn't suit me!

Once I accepted these truths, I decided to become a palm reader myself, as it fulfils all of these needs and preferences... And because it was so fun!

I believe you can benefit from palmistry, just as I did, and find what you're looking for too!
